Trained in medicine, Lindsay was a consultant physician specialising in services for older people. A move from clinical practice into health service management led to senior posts in Lothian and, more recently, in Scottish Borders, where she was Chief Executive of the health board. Lindsay, a qualified business coach and advanced mediator, joined Eskhill & Co as a partner in 2003. Lindsay is also MBTI qualified and has a horticultural qualification. Lindsay is a past chair of two NHS health boards: NHS Education Scotland and the National Waiting Times Centre NHS Board. She also chaired the Scottish Association for Mental Health for six years. Lindsay was made CBE in 2011 for services to the Health Services in Scotland.Areas of Expertise
